Now Accepting Applications - HealthSpark's Safety Net Fund

HealthSpark Foundation is accepting applications to the Safety Net Fund now through October 17, 2023. The Safety Net Fund provides up to 30,000 in grant funding for one year for organizations that support a strong safety net system in Montgomery County.

The Safety Net Initiative was built with community and envisions a resilient and financially sustainable safety net that allows anyone in MontCo to access high quality, coordinated, equitable, and culturally appropriate services no matter who they are, what they need, or where they live. The initiative believes that a strong safety net benefits everyone, and Montgomery County’s safety net will thrive through a shared commitment to nourish and sustain it.

"HealthSpark Foundation is pleased to continue our investment into a strong, equitable, and accessible safety net system in Montgomery County. This round of the Safety Net Fund reflects our Foundation’s deep listening to our partners by offering flexible, general operating support grants and piloting a new partnership with the VNA Foundation of Greater North Penn to streamline grant application processes for applicants," shared Emma Hertz, President and CEO.

The HSF and VNA pilot initiative aims to alleviate the effort of submitting multiple grant applications by addressing the commonality of funders asking similar questions. Those organizations opting in will have their contact information shared with VNA Foundation for their next grant cycle, in Spring 2024.
